How sign-up works
We use two systems. Here's which one to use.

Your first visit
What to know before you come.
- Waiver
- It's part of signing up for your free OpenCourt account. Do it before you come.
- Check in
- At the front desk, 10 minutes early.
- Wear
- Athletic clothes. Play barefoot or in sand socks.
- Bring
- Water and a towel. Balls are provided.
- Inside
- Climate controlled, with a recovery room, party room and spectator areas.
- Parents
- You can watch. Tournament days may have a spectator fee.

Getting started
Do I need experience?
No. We have groups for total beginners all the way to Open players.
Do I need a partner?
No. Come solo to training or open play. Coaches set up the groups.
What level am I?
Check the skill guide. Not sure? Drop in once and the coach will place you.
Can I try once before joining?
Yes. Adult drop-in is $22 with no commitment.
Money
How does monthly billing work?
Memberships and Regional Club bill automatically each month on OpenCourt.
How do I cancel?
Regional Club: 30 days written notice before the month you're stopping. Adult memberships: email admin@beachboxutah.com with 30 days notice.
Do punch passes expire?
Yes. The 20-practice pass is valid for 5 months.
Is anything refundable?
Court reservations: full refund 48+ hours ahead, 50% or a free reschedule at 24 to 48 hours, none under 24 hours. The Regional Club commitment fee is not refundable.
Kids
What age can my child start?
Age 4, in VolleyKids.
How are groups chosen?
By skill, not age. Athletes move up during the season.
Can my kid play indoor and beach?
Yes. Beach is also a real college pathway.
What does travel cost beyond tuition?
Flights or driving, hotel, meals and memberships.
Booking
How far ahead can I book a court?
Up to 30 days in advance on OpenCourt.
What's the difference between a rental and a party?
Rentals are for recreational play, up to 12 people per court. Birthdays, team parties and company events book as an event through our inquiry form.
What if I'm late or need to cancel?
Cancel 48+ hours ahead for a full refund. Between 24 and 48 hours, you get 50% back or a free reschedule. Under 24 hours or a no-show gets no refund. If you're more than 15 minutes late and the building is locked, it counts as a no-show.
The facility
Is it cold or hot inside?
Neither. The building is climate controlled, so it's comfortable all year.
Can spectators watch?
Yes. We have spectator areas. Tournament days may have a spectator fee.
What else is in the building?
A recovery room, a party room and spectator areas.
Are there showers or a place to change?
Yes. We have restrooms and one shower, which has a fee to use.
